          Damn Dave-Powerful story. I know that is part of why I got into teaching. I was a shit head kid. I didnt like most of my classes. I saw teachers who were incompetant, immoral, or a combination of both. I had teachers who were burnt out, or at least forgot what it was like to be a kid. And I was going to walk that line of doing enough to not get the call home. I had 2 teachers in high school who got my attention and made me want to learn. I got into teaching to imulate thos 2, while avoiding the behaviors of the rest that I “did not learn from”. I believe the lessons I learned from the rest were as valuable as the ones I learned from the 2.

                                  I always enjoy these bar articles, as I know very little. Funny how much a bar can help. I am certain that I put 30# on my 1 arm DL with more in the tank at Al’s because I was pulling on the right bar.
