            I have made all kinds of connections to Steve Scott over the years. Steve has impacted and influences SO MANY in the strength and martial arts world. Amazing. He had a connection with the JWC before I ever even picked up a weight!

              thom i’m a very proud black belt under steve, he is really one of the best human beings i have ever met. if i accomplish half as much as him in martial arts & strength sports, i will be pretty pleased! when i told him i was getting into highland games, he passed on some of his equipment to me. whenever i would tell him about what type of crazy workout i was into at the time, he’d say “you really need to check out those odd-lifters”.

                I really miss getting to see Steve often. He is a great man! Funny story. A few years ago I was speaking to a Dad on Brees soccer team. We finally started introduced ourselves and he said his name was Scott Steves. I laughed and said I knew a guy named Steve Scott. Turns out, he had been involved in judo and knew Steve!! Funny story!

                  I’ll add to that….There’s a sister Church to mine that has a pastor who’s last name is Steuve (pronounced “Steve) and he has a son named Scott and I made that same connection in my mind when I saw that.
