The 1999 Heavy Lift Nationals were held Sept 11, in Walpole, Ma.  They
  were performed in the park in conjunction with a Day-in-the-Park fair.  
  The lifting was all done on top of a flatbed trailer.  Due to some
  technical difficulties, the Back Lift was not performed.

     A small group of 11 eleven lifters showed up, and performed before
  crowds of 200-500 people.  Several thousand were in attendance at the
  fair, and most had a chance to watch at one point or another.

     Best lifter went to Frank Ciavatonne, meet director.  Frank is well
  known in the New England area for his lifting expoits.

     The results for the meet are listed below.
