The 1999 Hermann Goerner Deadlift Dozen was held at Clark's Gym in
  Columbia, Mo, Sunday, Dec 12, 1999 as part of a two day lifting weekend, the 
  other being the Gordon Strain Single Arm Classic.  

     A total of 7 lifters participated, including Kevin Fulton, Captains of Crush
  master from Litchfield, Nebraska.  Kevin was the eventual winner over Mike McBride
  of Clark's gym by 18 points.  The contest between the two lifters went down to the
  last lift of the day, with Kevin getting the win with his little fingers deadlift
  of 195 lbs.  

     We also saw a new lifter from Jefferson City, Mo., Jordan Sipes.  She first tried
  powerlifting this summer at an AAU meet and wanted to try the all-rounds.
